Christopher S. Jensen

Chris Jensen represents a wide range of real estate owners and developers in the purchase and sale, development and leasing of all types of commercial real estate. He enjoys the challenge of helping his real estate clients navigate complex projects and realize their business goals in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Chris has particular expertise in conservation easements. Chris is a frequent contributor to the firm’s real estate blog, www.rockymountainrealestatelaw.com, where his posts often address issues related to conservation easements.

Prior to starting his legal career, Chris worked for The Nature Conservancy and other national conservation programs. During law school, Chris was a judicial intern for the Honorable John L. Kane, U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

Conservation Easements

Chris Jensen is well-known for his work on conservation easements. He is a passionate land conservation attorney, having represented both private land owners and land trusts in dozens of complex conservation easement transactions. Chris also represents conservation easement donors before state and federal agencies both in the administrative setting and in court. He is a frequent lecturer on conservation easements to local, statewide and national audiences.
