Overview

Julie Gifford represents clients with respect to a variety of real estate matters, with a particular focus on real estate finance, purchase and sale transactions and leasing. Julie’s real estate finance experience includes representing lenders on commercial real estate construction and permanent loan transactions, including the financing of major shopping centers, office buildings, medical office buildings, multi-family developments and industrial warehouse centers. She also represents lenders on the financing of note purchases, including unique situations involving acquisition of notes in foreclosure. With respect to leasing, Julie primarily represents landlords in the commercial office building context. She also represents developers in the acquisition of vacant land for commercial and residential developments and in the sale of developed residential lots to homebuilders. Julie is the chair of the firm’s Recruiting Committee.
