    Bio

A shareholder at Otten Johnson, Vicki has worked in the firm's real estate group for over 15 years.  Vicki has a broad range of experience in matters relating to financing for commercial properties of all types, including troubled loans, and she represents clients in the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties as well. Vicki represents both lenders and borrowers on matters relating to real estate financing, including construction and permanent loans.

For one large mixed-use development in Lakewood, Colorado, Vicki has represented the developer in connection with various financings since the project's inception, including a pre-development loan, several construction loans, permanent financing, and "green bond" financing, as well as matters relating to the installation of solar energy facilities at the project and the structuring of a joint venture for further development of the project.

Vicki also has a background in bankruptcy law that can be traced back to her previous career.  Before attending law school, Vicki worked for Kaiser Steel Corporation as that company was emerging from Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings.  She handled bankruptcy claims administration for Kaiser Steel, and acquired firsthand knowledge of the range of legal and logistical issues involved in bankruptcy cases.

Vicki is a member (and the former chair) of Otten Johnson's Associate Development Committee.  See the Professional Development page for more information about the Associate Development Committee.

Vicki is rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubbell.
