Bio

As a shareholder in Otten Johnson's real estate group, Kathleen has diverse experience in her field but with particular emphasis on financings. She has extensive experience with financings of multifamily properties, including affordable housing projects and assisted living facilities.

Kathleen handles Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac financings for many of her clients.  She has also represented developers in the issuance, refunding, credit enhancement and restructuring of over $300 milliion of tax-exempt multifamily housing bonds.  In addition, Kathleen has orchestrated several portfolio transactions involving the acquisition and financing of properties in multiple states.  Additionally, Kathleen has developed various real estate forms, including contracts for portfolio sales and acquisitions and contracts for the disposition of bank-owned real estate.

Kathleen perfectly melds her two career passions, real estate and law. Although law school was her ultimate goal, she developed an interest in real estate in college. As an undergraduate, she earned a degree in Finance and Real Estate and obtained her real estate broker's license.

Kathleen is passionate about and committed to her clients and genuinely invests herself in her clients' issues as if they were her own.

She has an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
